On Saturday, April 19th, Fulton Heights neighbors celebrated the arrival of warmer weather and kicked off a busy season of FHNA events. Families enjoyed an egg hunt, complete with prizes, before gathering inside for pancakes, sausage, coffee, and the official Spring Membership Meeting.
Guest speaker Officer Wetzel gave advice on neighborhood safety, and Commissioner Milinda Ysasi encouraged local participation in the upcoming City budget process and the City’s Climate Action and Adaptation Plan.
FHNA members received updates from the various committees, including a budget overview from the Treasurer, sneak peeks at upcoming coffee hours from the Events committee, and a sunny look ahead to the growing season from the Garden Committee. Membership also officially voted in three new board members – Anna Kornoelj, Michael Metiva, and Celia Metiva. Full minutes are available on the Newsletters & Minutes page of the FHNA website.
Please extend a heartfelt thank you to Gloria, the Events Committee, and the FHNA Board for their hard work planning and running the events! Keep an eye on the Events calendar and the FHNA Facebook page for details about upcoming neighborhood activities, and as always, feel free to reach out at any time with questions, suggestions, and for volunteer opportunities. Happy spring!
