Friends and neighbors gathered on Saturday, May 3 to plant trees with Friends of GR Parks. After a neighbor on Lowell organized the event through Friends, a dozen or so volunteers met in the morning and split into teams to plant new street trees along Lowell, Mayfield, Baynton, and Alten.
Over the next three hours, volunteers planted a total of 16 trees in Fulton Heights. When out and about in the neighborhood, be sure to keep an eye out for our new saplings!
