The Hillcrest Garden Committee is making some changes, and there are new opportunities for more gardeners to participate! In addition to joining as a General Member, starting this November gardeners can take annual positions like Secretary, Communications Lead, and Volunteer Lead, among others.
The Hillcrest Garden Committee needs new members! Everyone from new gardeners to longstanding volunteers are invited and encouraged to join.
What does it mean to join the Hillcrest Garden Committee?
- The Committee is the group of gardeners that manages the operations and budget of the Hillcrest Community Garden.
- The garden needs volunteers to take on Committee positions for the care and growth of our cherished community space.
What is the time commitment?
- Monthly Committee meetings are held on the first Monday of the month at 7pm. They generally run for 90 minutes.
- Committee members mainly fulfill the duties of their position outside of the monthly meetings. For General Members, this could mean assisting with a specific project or handling a one-time task.
